75 years old Antonietta Testa, a pensioner, was cleaning the tomb on Wednesday morning when the marble broke and she fell four metres to the bottom plunging into her late husband's grave in Pompeli, Southern Italy. The emergency services were called and the fire brigade lifted her out on a stretcher. She suffered a broken femur and was awake when saved. She however drifted into a state of shock and later died of a heart attack in hospital
According to residents, there is a curse upon the cemetery as three women fell into the graves of their relatives in two days.
