We want to look away but can't! Look at those eyes... these cats are frightening but people who own them say they are very sweet and they need to wear sweaters in the winter. Yes, please put clothes on!
  

# 11 Oriental Yeti ("Lu Chin")

We thought it couldn't get any scarier than the Hairless Cat but this new creature found in China is something of nightmares. Since 2010, no scientist has concluded what it is. Evidently it calls out like a cat but looks like a hairless bear.

# 10 Geoduck (pronounced Gooey-Duck) Clam (Panopea generosa)

This phallic looking saltwater clam is native to North American beaches and is a prized edible seafood that requires major digging in deep muddy sands. Its neck stretches out over 3 feet in length!

# 9 Orangutans

Orangutans are among the most intelligent primates. They were made extra popular on the Discovery Channel documentary of the Orangutan rehabilitation center in Borneo. The male's faces get buried in large fleshy padding like this one. It's so ugly it's cute!

The endangered California Condor now is making a come back. The vulture is the largest North American land bird and it's bald head and neck makes it one of the most unsightly too.

# 7 Frilled Shark

This creature is found in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and usually deep at the bottom... thank goodness, because we wouldn't want to run into it while scuba diving! It's said that it catches prey by lunging forward like a snake, swallowing victims whole!

This poor Llama is probably worse-off looking then the rest of his tribe mainly because of his bottom bucked teeth. Also... that's some hairstyle!
  

# 5 Proboscis monkey (Nasalis larvatus)

Maybe it's his beady eyes, bulbous nose and pot belly, but this character is one of the most comical. We think he looks like a friendly old man! The south-east Asian monkey unfortunately is on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species... Oh no!

With her pretty neck collar, it looks like she getting good love 'n care! She must be old but a haircut would do her wonders!
 

# 3 Naked Mole Rat

The naked mole rat is one of the ugliest animals so it's a good thing they spend their lives underground. They're rather blind and live in colonies like bees and have one queen who is responsible for reproduction. Eww!!


 

# 2 The Blobfish (Psychrolutes marcidus)

This is the only fish that looks like a person. It's the nose and lips.. you think? It almost looks like a cartoon character! The Blobfish lives in the deep-waters off Australia so people rarely get to see it... maybe this is a good thing.

The red 'star' of fleshy tentacles is this mole's nose and it's what's used to help his poor eyesight like sensitive antennas. Sorry, but this harmless North American resident gives us the creeps!
