Woman catches husband having gay s*x with longtime friend?

A Bulawayo woman from Bradfield, Zimbabwe suburb has moved out of her matrimonial home after finding her husband having gay sex with his longtime friend.

Fungai Mtomba caught her husband Milton Ngwerume in compromising position with his longtime friend only identified as Rashid.

However, the man could neither confirm nor deny the allegations when contacted for comment.

It is alleged that on 23 December 2012, Ngwerume sent Mtomba to his rural home in Masvingo for a holiday with his family. He is said to have driven herand spent only one day in Masvingo before coming back to celebrate Christmas in Bulawayo.

"He told me to stay home and help my in-laws in thefields until he called me back. I stayed at our rural home and intended to come back end of January. However, a neighbour phoned me informing me thatMilton was acting funny with Rashid. The neighbour claimed he had spotted the two caressing in the garage and after noticing that they had been spotted, he claims they approachedhim pleading that he keeps it to himself.," said the wife.

She added: "I had never suspected that he could be cheating on me. We could exchange phones anytime and I never saw any suspicious messages even from a man."

Letter To Gov. Okorocha Over The Men Beaten Because Of HomoSuxuality

Three men tied together, paraded naked and beaten in Ekwe

Our organization have reliably confirmed and authenticated the incident and of the identity of one of the men in the picture, and are calling on security agents to quickly respond to the plight of these men. As it is, only the perpetrators and the community can tell the whole world what has become of these men who were seriously beaten up, stripped naked and paraded around the community bounded together like animals on allegation that they were caught having sex together.

As I write, our source reliably confirmed that the men were yet to be released from the location where they are being held in Umuka, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State.

We demand that the plight of these men be given the urgent attention it deserves by the Nigerian Police and other security agencies, and we especially appeal to Owelle Rochas Okoroch, Executive Governor of Imo State to intervene to save their lives.

While acknowledging that several Nigerians find the practice of homosexuality strange and unnatural, we also realize that it does not confer a license to trample on the rights of people who engages in it, with the sort of inhuman treatment that was meted out to these them.

So many informed commentators, including Nobel Prize winner, Prof Wole Soyinka have commented on the scientifically proven fact that more than anything, gays are just victims of biology.

We note and condemn the prevailing adverse legal and social environment that most LGBT now have to face in Nigeria, being criminalised for their sexual orientation and being made a target for harassment and violent assault fuelled by the on-going debates by the nation’s parliament on criminalizing homosexual acts.

Instead of being singled out for harassment and prosecution, what this community deserves is support and access to sexual health services thatthey lack as citizens of this country. The LGBT community remain a high risk group to HIV/AIDS infection, yet it is a community that has been denied of all access to life saving HIV/AIDS services. We suggest that our parliamentarians should devote equal energy at fishing out and punishing our treasury thieves who are doing moreharm to the continued survival of our nation instead of dissipating energy on an issue that borders on private morality.

We enjoin other rights group to show solidarity and ensure that the rights of sexual minorities areprotected like other marginalized groups in the country.

Thank you,

The three men were stripped unclad and allegedly lynched on Monday, in Ekwe, near Umuka in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State. Mr. Aborisade called on security agents to respond to the plight of the men.

Mr. Aborisade said a reliable source “reliably confirmed that the men were yet to be released from the location where they are being held in Umuka, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State”.

The group appealed to the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, to intervene to save the lives of the men.

First gay couples marry in Maine - UPI

The city clerk's office in Portland, Maine, opened Friday night to allow gay couples to marry as soon as the state's new same-sex marriage law took effect.

Steven Bridges and Michael Snell, who have been together for nine years, tied the knot minutes after midnight Saturday in the Maine Room at City Hall, the Portland Press Herald reported.

The two men, who said they had a commitment ceremony six years ago, were the first of about 15 couples in line for marriage licenses.

Mayor Michael Brennan arrived at City Hall at about 10 p.m. When the building opened its doors, a local jazz group played "What a Difference a Day Makes."

A crowd of about 300 people, including those waiting for marriage licenses, their guests and supporters, turned out. On the other side of City Hall Plaza two men protested the new law, adopted in a referendum in November.

Snell's adult daughters, Carolyn and Katie, who live in Boston, attended his wedding. Same-sex marriages have been legal in Massachusetts sincea 2004 court decision.

"It's nice to see Maine catch up," Katie Snell said.
Portland and Falmouth, a nearby town, opened clerk's offices for midnight weddings. A number ofother municipalities, including Augusta, the state capital, Bangor and Brunswick, planned to have special Saturday hours for marriage licenses and weddings.

Zenit St Petersburg fans warns Club Not To buy black or gay players

The largest fan group of Russian champions Zenit St Petersburg has demanded the club refrain from buying black and gay players.

"We're not racists but we see the absence of black players at Zenit as an important tradition,"

Zenit fan club Landscrona said in aletter, called the "Selection 12 manifesto", posted on its website on Monday.

"It would allow Zenit to maintain the national identity of the club, which is the symbol of St Petersburg."

Zenit have been the only top club in Russia to have never signed an African player while the northern city of St Petersburg is known to have a strong right-wing nationalist influence.

The fans said they want more home-grown or European players in the team. "We only want players from other brotherly Slav nations, such as Ukraine and Belarus as well as from the Baltic states and Scandinavia. We have the same mentality and historical and cultural background as these nations," the letter said.

They also expressed their opposition to having "sexual minorities" in the team. Several prominent black players have turned down lucrative offers from the wealthy club over the past 12 months after receiving death threats from Zenit fans. A Zenit spokesman said on Monday the club would not comment on the fans' letter.

The former Zenit and Russia striker AlexanderPanov said the fans have no right to influence the club's selection policy. "If we don't have enough good players from St Petersburg, then what should the club do?" he said.

"All clubs around the world have black players. If they are absent from Zenit – it's Zenit's problem. I don't think fans should demand the club buy or don't buy certain players. The fans have the right to go to the stadium or stay home."

Zenit have been in turmoil for the past few months with several senior players unhappy after the wealthy club splashed out more than £60m on the Brazil forward Hulk and Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel just before the transfer deadline.

Zenit demoted the Russia captain Igor Denisov to the reserve team in September after he refused to play, issuing an ultimatum to renegotiate his contract in line with what Hulk was making.

Denisov was later allowed torejoin the first team after making an apology.
