Actress Nkiru Sylvanus who doubles as a Special adviser to the Governor of Imo state was recently kidnapped and later released after her family paid a ransom fee of N8million.



Below is the statement she made after her release on Thursday:

“My detractors labours in vain…. my God does notsleep nor slumber…. I am back again”. – Nollywood’s Nkiru Sylvanus said after her release by kidnappers.

Kidnappings is becoming so rampant in the South-south and South-east of Nigeria.We thank God for her and her family.
